Name that photo: Recognize that dead car?
I’ve hiked past this car many times in the last few years. Hint: It’s next to a major trail in a major state park; do you know where it is?

Update June 23, 2012 Randy got it spot on: It’s the Coastal Trail in Mt. Tamalpais State Park. The story behind a car is a bit of a mystery. I reached out to the internet and a few folks from the California State Parks looking for answers but have yet to find anyone with the full story. Will ask a ranger next time I meet one at Mt. Tam. If you have any information, do tell!
